Applied AI Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop AI-driven product features that are seamlessly integrated into authentic insurance workflows.

• Design and enhance LLM-based interactions for both customer-facing and internal systems.

• Create prompts, reasoning frameworks, and structured AI outputs tailored for production scenarios.

• Assess model performance through the use of real-world data, feedback mechanisms, and experimental approaches.

• Enhance the reliability of AI outputs by implementing guardrails, fallback strategies, and validation layers.

• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to incorporate AI functionalities into APIs and workflows.

• Design and execute AI-powered automation features, including chat interfaces, recommendations, and decision support systems.

• Examine user behavior and model responses to perpetually enhance AI efficiency.

• Work in partnership with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver comprehensive AI features.

• Play a role in shaping AI system design decisions with a focus on user-friendliness and real-world effectiveness.

• Solid software engineering experience within production environments.

• Proficiency in working with LLMs (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or other open-source models).

• Understanding of prompt engineering, structured output generation, and tool utilization patterns.

• Experience in developing or integrating AI features into genuine products.

• Strong grasp of API-based system integration.

• Capacity to critically assess AI outputs using data analysis and user feedback.

• Familiarity with experimentation methodologies, A/B testing, or evaluation frameworks.

• Strong product intuition and emphasis on user experience.
