Applied AI Engineer, Agentic Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement autonomous agents that can manage multi-step reasoning, tool utilization, and error recovery.

• Collaborate with logistics and support teams to uncover significant opportunities for agentic intervention.

• Take complete ownership of the agent lifecycle, encompassing Discovery → Agent Architecture → Prompt Engineering/Fine-tuning → Hardening → Production Deployment.

• Create reliable systems by developing robust guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and logging mechanisms to ensure agents function predictably in a high-stakes supply chain setting.

• Contribute to the 'Agent Hub' by documenting and publishing reusable agent modules and toolsets to enhance AI enablement throughout the organization.

• Facilitate rapid iteration by bridging the gap between 'impressive demo' and 'production tool' through small releases, collecting feedback from domain experts, and quickly iterating.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in software engineering (or a remarkable portfolio of agentic projects).

• Strong expertise in Python and .NET.

• Thorough understanding of contemporary agent architectures (e.g., ReAct, Plan-and-Execute).

• Practical experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic).

• Familiarity with building retrieval pipelines (RAG).

• Skill in creating lightweight dashboards and interfaces (Vue.js/React).
