Applications Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in advanced CT data analysis utilizing VGStudio MAX for assessing porosity/inclusion, wall thickness measurement, dimensional inspection, and visualization.

• Develop and establish best practices and standards for aligning CAD with scans, as well as creating automated inspection macros within VGStudio MAX.

• Work collaboratively with design engineering and metrology teams to address product variation challenges, define tolerances, and assist in root cause analysis.

• Create and implement standardized workflows for CT data processing across various sites, encompassing correlation and Gage R&R studies.

• Offer technical assistance to engineers and other departments to facilitate tooling development and enhance process improvements.

• Compose and maintain CT-specific inspection protocols, operating procedures, and data review methodologies that adhere to customer standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• NDT experience as a previous DR/RT level II or level I.

• Proficiency in digital imaging along with digital radiography/computed tomography.

• Specialized training or experience in VolumeGraphics including VGInline; completion of courses offered by Hexagon is advantageous.

• An NDT associate's degree or a degree in computer sciences is a plus.

• Strong aptitude for computer work, including programming in VolumeGraphics and troubleshooting PC issues.

• Completed technical training, such as previous experience or course completion in VolumeGraphics.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, including extended assignments at customer facilities.

• Attention to detail regarding documentation related to training.
