Applications Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in sophisticated CT data analysis utilizing VGStudio MAX for the assessment of porosity and inclusions, wall thickness evaluations, dimensional inspections, and visualizations.

• Set and uphold best practices and standards for aligning CAD with scans, along with creating automated inspection macros in VGStudio MAX.

• Work collaboratively with design engineering and metrology teams to address product variation challenges, establish tolerances, and assist in root cause analysis.

• Create and execute standardized workflows for CT data processing across multiple sites, including correlation studies and Gage R&R analyses.

• Provide technical assistance to engineers and various departments to enhance tooling development and process optimization.

• Draft and maintain CT-specific inspection protocols, operational procedures, and data review methods that adhere to customer standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• NDT experience as a previous DR/RT level II or level I.

• Proficiency in digital imaging and digital radiography/computed tomography.

• Specialized training or experience in VolumeGraphics, including VGInline; completion of courses provided by Hexagon is an advantage.

• NDT associate degree or background in computer sciences is a plus.

• Strong aptitude for computer tasks, including programming in VolumeGraphics and troubleshooting PC issues.

• Completion of technical training, such as prior experience or course completion in VolumeGraphics.

• Willingness to travel up to 80%, including extended assignments at customer facilities.

• Meticulous attention to detail regarding documentation related to training.
