This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Ensure the stable operation and monitoring of applications.
• Coordinate and oversee activities to guarantee availability, recoverability, performance, and resource utilization.
• Analyze and resolve incidents related to applications and develop effective workarounds.
• Provide support and guidance to end users regarding application usage and process execution.
• Keep application users informed about incidents, notifications, and planned outages.
• Facilitate communication among business units, application owners, support teams, and developers.
• Assist in the specification, testing, and rollout of application releases.
• Plan and coordinate releases, including the creation of installation plans.
• Capture technical requirements and develop solution concepts for application enhancements.
• Align release agreements and coordinate implementation with relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain and further develop interfaces between applications.
• Create and support change requests for application developers.
• Create, update, and maintain operational guides, user manuals, and technical documentation.
• Generate custom reports and statistics.
• Conduct data cleansing and maintenance activities.
• Completed education in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in Application Management, Service Management, or Application Operations.
• Strong experience in operating and supporting business applications.
• In-depth knowledge of release and deployment management, including planning and coordinating application releases.
• Proficient in analyzing, troubleshooting, and providing permanent solutions for application incidents.
• Good understanding of interface management and experience working with various IT and business units.
• Experienced in creating, maintaining, and updating technical documentation, operational guides, and user manuals.
• Background in data maintenance and generating customer-specific reports and statistics.
• Fluent in German with a good command of English.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
