Applications Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Delivering technical assistance to Power Distribution clients in the Southeastern region of the United States

• Collaborating with territory sales managers to advocate for both new and existing products

• Aiding R&D in the creation of customer-focused new solutions and opportunities for cost savings

• Offering technical answers to customer questions

• Engaging in significant quotes and bids with key clients

• Partnering with Design Engineering to enhance product optimization

• Supplying corrective action reports and feedback regarding quality issues

• Taking part in essential customer SRM meetings and evaluations of customer scorecards

• Collaborating closely with R&D to innovate new products and identify cost-saving prospects

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical)

• 3-5 years of experience in Engineering, preferably in Wire and Cable

• Strong foundational knowledge and background in engineering

• Advanced computer skills, particularly in Excel

• Capability to engage in cross-functional teams and influence within a matrix organization

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment

• Capability to think and act LEAN to enhance internal processes and customer offerings
