Applications Development Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deliver timely and cost-effective IT solutions that align with business needs.

• Oversee the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Application Maintenance Service (AMS) of outsourced vendors.

• Ensure the availability of Subject Matter Experts (SME) for the supported application systems.

• Guarantee 24/7 application availability and performance.

• Participate in or assist with solution design, configuration, development, and unit testing for new projects and enhancement requests.

• Monitor and track enhancement and support deliverables by service providers according to the SLA.

• Track and oversee project deliverables by the product team as per the agreed timeline.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in application development.

• Strong expertise in Java (version 11 or higher) and Spring Boot (version 2 or higher).

• Experience with Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud.

• Deep understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.

• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (preferably Azure).

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevSecOps methodologies.

• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL across Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases.

• Experience with unit testing frameworks, with a preference for JUnit.

• Knowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle, and API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI.

• Experience in project management utilizing Agile methodologies.
