Application Support Engineer, Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Ensure high availability, stability, and performance of critical applications and systems.

• Analyze incidents and problems to identify root causes and propose definitive or temporary solutions.

• Oversee infrastructure, microservices, databases, and end-user experience using Dynatrace.

• Set up intelligent alerts based on behavior and Artificial Intelligence capabilities for early incident detection.

• Create and maintain monitoring dashboards to visualize data flows, transaction volumes, and request statuses.

• Monitor unusual patterns in application and server logs using Kibana and Elastic Search.

• Track the health of mobile applications utilizing Firebase Crashlytics, identifying regressions and production errors.

• Act as third-level support, collaborating with Infrastructure, Networks, Operations, and Development teams.

• Provide technical evidence through logs, metrics, and traces to expedite incident resolution and deployment of fixes.

• Collaborate with Frontend, Backend, CRM, and Product Teams to ensure the stability of technological ecosystems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields.

• Experience in monitoring and observability of enterprise applications.

• Advanced knowledge of Dynatrace, Kibana, and Elastic Search.

• Experience in log analysis, APM, and performance monitoring.

• Familiarity with Firebase Crashlytics for mobile application monitoring.

• Experience in incident analysis, problem management, and root cause determination.

• Understanding of microservices-based architectures and REST APIs.

• Experience working with Docker containers and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Ability to interpret metrics, logs, and traces from distributed applications.

• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in agile environments.
