Application Engineer – HVAC Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Assist channel partners, consulting engineers, and contractors in the accurate selection and pricing of HVAC equipment.

• Deliver commercial, competitive, and technical application support through phone or email communications.

• Collaborate with a small team of technical staff to address the requests of the field sales organization.

• Provide application training and support across a wide range of packaged and split commercial products.

• Engage in the testing of relevant product selection and pricing software.

• Coordinate with engineering to create Special Requests for unique requirements.

• Work together with marketing to define the requirements for selection and pricing software.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BSME, BSEE, or BSIE) or a related scientific field.

• Significant experience in a technical position may be accepted in place of a degree.

• Familiarity with HVAC applications and technologies.

• Over 4 years of experience in sizing and selecting HVAC equipment for commercial applications.

• Experience in customer service related to technical products.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
