This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, quality assurance specialists, and developers to implement enterprise solutions.
• Analyze business needs and convert them into technical specifications.
• Develop and sustain custom applications and Salesforce-based solutions.
• Design, troubleshoot, debug, and enhance applications focusing on performance, security, and user experience.
• Ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
• Configure and maintain the Salesforce Education Cloud environment, including flows, validation rules, record types, page layouts, permission sets, sharing rules, report types, and dashboards.
• Assist with the migration from EDA to Education Cloud through environment configuration, object setup, testing, and validation.
• Investigate and rectify student data integrity issues, such as duplicates, account merges, grade and enrollment discrepancies, and reconciliation against partner institution feeds.
• Configure and maintain case management, queues, and assignment rules for high-volume student support.
• Build and maintain automation for admissions and application processing, including status logic, bulk updates, and outbound application feeds.
• Support Salesforce Digital Experiences content and configuration for student portals, student support, and public marketing sites.
• Perform data loads, deduplication, and record merges utilizing Data Loader or similar tools.
• Write Apex, triggers, or Lightning Web Components when declarative solutions fall short.
• Transition work through sandboxes to Production on a three-week release schedule, ensuring thorough testing and documentation.
• Confirm that configuration aligns with Section 508 accessibility standards and federal security requirements.
• Document configuration choices, data fixes, and operational procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in developing web, enterprise, or Salesforce applications.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator.
• Familiarity with a complex, customized Salesforce org, including custom objects, relationship design, and record-level security.
• Proficient in Flow Builder, validation rules, permission sets, profiles, sharing rules, and field-level security.
• Skilled in SOQL and Salesforce reporting.
• Experience with data loading, deduplication, and record merge processes.
• Proven track record in investigating and resolving data quality issues across integrated systems.
• Experience in moving configuration through sandboxes to Production.
• Background in Agile teams using Jira or similar tools.
• Demonstrated ability to automate manual processes.
• USA Citizenship is required.
• Camera on; video participation is essential throughout the interview process and expected for standups, sprint ceremonies, working sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
• Preferred: Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.
• Preferred: Experience with Salesforce Education Cloud or Education Data Architecture (EDA).
• Preferred: Background in higher education, including student information systems, registrar operations, admissions, or transcription.
• Preferred: Working knowledge of Apex, triggers, and Lightning Web Components.
• Preferred: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
• Preferred: Experience with Salesforce Government Cloud or another FedRAMP authorized environment.
• Preferred: Knowledge of REST or SOAP integrations, or MuleSoft.
• Preferred: Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, or Digital Experiences.
• Preferred: Familiarity with CRM Analytics or Tableau.
• Preferred: Understanding of Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards.
• Preferred: Experience with Git, Salesforce CLI, DevOps Center, Gearset, or Copado.
• Preferred: Previous experience with federal contracts.
