Application Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +24 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, create, test, implement, and sustain solutions within the Artiva application environment.

• Develop and support features utilizing the InterSystems Caché database platform.

• Engage in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Collaborate with Operations and business stakeholders to gather requirements and convert business needs into technical solutions.

• Act as a technical resource in the design and execution of new features, workflows, and system enhancements.

• Create and maintain system integrations, interfaces, and automated processes.

• Diagnose application issues, analyze underlying causes, and implement sustainable solutions.

• Participate in project planning, estimation, and the delivery of strategic initiatives.

• Generate and uphold technical documentation and development standards.

• Support production systems and assist with issue resolution as necessary.

• Offer ideas and recommendations that enhance application performance, usability, and business efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be accepted.

• Over 3 years of software development experience.

• Preferred experience in Artiva application development.

• Preferred experience with InterSystems Caché, ObjectScript, SQL, and database development.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and sprint-based development.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.

• Experience in designing and implementing business application solutions and integrations.

• Proficient in effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities while fulfilling project and sprint commitments.

• Experience in collections, healthcare revenue cycle, or financial services is a plus.
