Application Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Ensure that project-specific designs align with the application architecture roadmap.

• Provide support to project and/or product teams for functional and technical design activities.

• Define interactions among application packages, databases, and middleware systems to enhance product functional coverage.

• Serve as the subject matter expert for products that necessitate integration into the application.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience in Information Technology OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses with 6 years of experience in Information Technology OR 8 years of experience in Information Technology.

• Proven experience in designing application and/or product features.

• Proficient in application configuration.

• Familiarity with Azure and/or Databricks.

• Experience with application development platforms and/or languages (HTML/CSS/Java/ASP.Net/PHCSC/Ruby/C#).

• Knowledge of cloud computing (SaaS / PaaS).

• Experience in DevOps and/or continuous deployment and/or integration processes and tools (Bamboo, Jenkins, RallyDev, Jira).

• Familiarity with integration technologies (Tibco/Informatica/CAS).

• Experience in iterative and/or agile and/or scrum development methodologies.

• Knowledge in solution architecture.

• Application domain knowledge.

• Skills in prototyping.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
