Application Analyst – Medical Device Integration, Surgical Applications, Intermediate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Provide support and maintenance for enterprise medical device integration platforms, which include: Epic Device Integration, Capsule Technologies, Philips Patient Monitoring, Mindray Patient Monitoring, and Central Monitoring solutions.

• Oversee the performance of interfaces and device integration.

• Investigate and resolve moderate application, interface, and workflow issues.

• Engage in system upgrades, testing, and implementation activities.

• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.

• Assist users with optimizing workflows and resolving issues related to third-party surgical and procedural applications, such as ProVation MD, STERIS, HexaVue, STERIS Instrument Tracking, Sterile Processing workflows, and TrackCore Tissue Tracking.

• Participate in software upgrades, implementations, and enhancements.

• Support project planning, task completion, documentation, and testing.

• Take part in on-call support and issue escalation processes.

• Create and maintain documentation for applications.

• Aid in disaster recovery planning and testing.

• Support vendor management activities and service reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Clinical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

• 2–4 years of experience in healthcare IT, clinical systems, device integration, or application support.

• Experience in supporting clinical applications, interfaces, or healthcare technology solutions.

• Knowledge of healthcare workflows and clinical operations.

• Preferred experience with Epic clinical applications or Epic Device Integration.

• Preferred experience supporting Philips, Mindray, Capsule, or central monitoring technologies.

• Epic certification or the ability to obtain certification as assigned is preferred.

• Preferred knowledge of HL7 interfaces.

• Familiarity with networked medical devices and clinical integration technologies is preferred.
