This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Workday and other applications related to Benefits, Time tracking, and absence, offering strategic guidance and hands-on assistance.
• Oversee and manage intricate HRIS projects, which include enhancements, new functionality deployments, and cross-functional integrations.
• Take ownership of the complete configuration and optimization of Workday business processes, security roles, calculated fields, custom reports, EIBs, and scheduled releases.
• Collaborate with HR teams and cross-functional stakeholders to outline system roadmaps, prioritize enhancements, and implement scalable solutions that align with business objectives.
• Analyze and document business requirements, process flows, and system impacts; generate high-quality documentation such as functional specifications, SOPs, and training materials.
• Maintain data integrity through comprehensive audit processes, validation routines, and proactive monitoring of system performance.
• Lead testing activities, including scenario creation, test execution, defect tracking, and obtaining stakeholder approval.
• Mentor junior analysts and HR teams on Workday capabilities, best practices, and change management strategies.
• Continuously assess system usage and pinpoint opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and increased adoption rates.
• Keep abreast of Workday releases and industry trends, proactively suggesting enhancements and innovations.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a strategic perspective.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across global teams.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities; capable of handling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently or within virtual teams.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives and influence outcomes without direct authority.
• Strong customer service focus and dedication to delivering high-quality solutions.
• Experience collaborating across time zones and engaging with remote leadership.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR and SOX.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with Workday, including the configuration and support of Talent & Performance and Core HCM modules.
• Demonstrated experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable Workday solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Workday architecture, including business objects, organizations, tenant setup, and integrations.
• More than 7 years of experience with HR systems and tools, encompassing project management and system lifecycle methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
• Experience leading HRIS projects from concept through deployment, including vendor coordination and budget management.
• Understanding of global HR processes and data governance standards.
