Appliance Repair Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Troubleshoot and repair Electrolux and Frigidaire appliances, encompassing cooking, refrigeration, dish care, and laundry products.

• Strive to finalize repairs during a single visit while ensuring a positive experience for consumers.

• Utilize company systems and mobile applications to manage service tickets, order parts, document repairs, and fulfill necessary training.

• Keep an accurate inventory of parts in the designated service vehicle and promote cost-effective use of parts.

• Conduct preventive maintenance and repair tasks following company protocols and technical standards.

• Ensure the service vehicle and company-supplied tools are clean, organized, and well-maintained.

• Adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and industry best practices throughout all service interactions.

• Represent the Electrolux brand with professionalism, including proper usage and care of company uniforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical repair or equivalent technical training.

• High School Diploma / GED is preferred. A combination of directly related appliance repair experience, technical certifications, and proven field competency may be accepted in place of formal education.

• A valid driver’s license with a driving record that complies with Electrolux policy standards.

• Strong mechanical skills with the capability to troubleshoot and repair intricate systems.

• Effective professional communication skills and the ability to engage positively with consumers.

• Ability to work autonomously and manage daily service appointments efficiently.

• Experience in appliance repair is preferred; possession of an EPA refrigeration license for sealed-system repairs is a bonus.
