Appian Developer Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Develop intricate technical solutions utilizing Appian and related technologies.

• Engage in hands-on design, development, and testing activities.

• Advise clients on design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives to ensure technical success.

• Guarantee that solutions are designed for scalability and performance.

• Promote process enhancements for our clients.

• Provide support for internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools.

• Offer mentorship, training, and enablement for team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing Appian solutions.

• At least 2 years of relevant IT experience.

• Preference will be given to candidates holding active Appian Senior or Lead certifications.

• Strong proficiency in Appian delivery employing an Agile methodology.

• Excellent technical design, implementation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional communication skills with the capability to articulate complex ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing; active listening skills to extract critical information from both internal and external partners; and analytical and strategic foresight.

• Strong organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask (prioritize and manage tasks), and work independently as well as collaboratively (team-building skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a “do whatever it takes” mindset).

• US Citizenship is required.

• Preference will be given to candidates residing in the DC Metro area.

• Some travel may be necessary for client meetings (0-15%).

• Required experience with the following technologies: Appian, RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB), Web services, Integrations, and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion).
