This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare legal documents (pleadings, motions, etc.) for negotiations and legal proceedings.
• Conduct depositions, participate in hearings, facilitate mediation, and advocate for clients during trials.
• Perform legal research, aid in hearing preparations, and offer legal advice to clients.
• Evaluate legal issues, counsel clients, and negotiate on their behalf.
• Work together with attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure efficient management of cases.
• Keep client files current for easy access by the team.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong abilities in time management and problem-solving.
• Outstanding attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with others.
• Must achieve billing goal expectations.
• Preferably has experience in coverage and/or a judicial clerkship.
• Must have a background in legal research and complex legal analysis.
