• Identify vendor partners in Northeast and Europe capable of producing high-quality Men's Sweaters with expedited production timelines.
• Efficiently pitch and onboard vendor partners, establishing clear criteria for the initial testing phase and ensuring their scalability upon successful evaluation.
• Enhance partner operations for existing supplier relationships across current Quince categories while diversifying the supplier base to improve product costs, quality, and commercial terms for sustainable sales and profitability.
• Oversee capacity management at both the supplier and style levels to align with company growth and scalability.
• Material Sourcing: Swiftly source materials that can enhance product cost, quality, and speed, providing options for scaling orders. Possess experience in negotiating with suppliers throughout the supply chain from T1 to T2 & T3 (if necessary) mill/vendor partners.
• Open costing expertise: Demonstrated experience in open costing breakdown from either the brand or manufacturer perspective to develop a clear strategy for costing negotiations; capable of constructing a validated cost structure/template for negotiations with vendor partners without solely relying on vendor data.
• Serve as an Ambassador to our partners in all interactions, fostering and deepening relationships through continuous improvement.
• Aim for higher hit-rate launches (reviews, returns, and sales) by ensuring product excellence and accelerating development times by identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions.
• Possess a clear strategic and commercial understanding of the sourcing landscape and trade advantages that can enhance product costs and speed to market for the USA, Canada, and Europe.
• Lead at both 30,000 ft and 3,000 ft, engaging a diverse array of stakeholders from various functions and nationalities. Be willing to adopt a scrappy approach to enhance existing processes and redefine new SOPs for improved speed and continuous development.
• Experience: Over 10 years in sourcing and merchandising within Men’s apparel categories, specifically in high-end national brands across the United States and Europe, focusing on Men's Sweaters.
• A consumer-focused and ambitious individual who provides strategic leadership and acts as a role model within the business, demonstrating self-assurance, pride, and passion that leaves a personal and professional impact.
• Self-Motivated: Proven track record as a self-starter and quick learner who adapts swiftly to new challenges.
• Detail Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail combined with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
