This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Guatemala.
• Responsible for designing, documenting, testing, and debugging software systems and/or applications.
• Engages in the complete development life cycle, including the review of requirements and design.
• Participates in software design discussions and assesses user needs to define technical requirements.
• Collaborates with end users to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs that meet their needs.
• Generates technical specifications based on conceptual designs and defined business requirements.
• Acts as a technical authority on development projects.
• Identifies and assesses new technologies for potential implementation.
• Maintains documentation related to software functionality, project planning, evaluations, budgeting, feedback, and enhancements.
• Provides estimates, budgets, project timelines, client updates, and ensures expectations are met.
• Reduces risk, prepares for mitigation, and keeps projects on schedule.
• Manages user requirements and delivers timely updates on project progress.
• Analyzes program code to identify causes of errors and makes necessary revisions.
• Offers input for performance evaluations of team members.
• Requires expertise and experience in the relevant field.
• A college or university degree is mandatory.
• Enhances products or services by leveraging business knowledge and industry best practices.
• Must be a self-starter with minimal need for supervision.
• Serves as a resource for colleagues who have less experience.
