This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Under the guidance of the client, carry out visual and non-destructive assessments of both static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in line with American Petroleum Institute (API) standards and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
• Deliver technically precise reports to the client detailing the condition of the equipment.
• Offer the client technical recommendations for the repair, re-rating, replacement, and/or modification of plant equipment, ensuring safe operation within the specified operational parameters for the durations requested by the client.
• Provide technical assistance to the client regarding welding and metallurgical challenges.
• Deliver expert guidance on the application of non-destructive examination techniques and procedures.
• Adhere strictly to all Acuren and client safety protocols and actively engage in all site safety programs.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Certification in American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570.
• 5 to 10 years of experience or a minimum of 2 years of on-site experience.
• Additional certifications such as API 653 or CWI are advantageous.
• Extensive working knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards.
• Experience directly supporting engineers in petrochemical facilities.
