This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.
• Develop and implement Decibel’s go-to-market strategy throughout the APAC region, focusing on distribution channels that generate quantifiable trading volume.
• Take ownership of key performance indicators related to user acquisition, active trading users, and growth in regional volume.
• Act as the main point of contact with a regional KOL agency.
• Assess, onboard, and oversee KOLs across various markets.
• Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of campaigns, ensuring they align with Decibel’s brand and target audience.
• Create, launch, and expand Decibel’s affiliate program in the APAC region.
• Collaborate with the head of Decibel Foundation to design and implement incentive structures aimed at attracting high-quality traders, rather than just traffic.
• Oversee dashboards, tracking, payouts, fraud detection, and optimizations.
• Identify, target, and onboard high-volume traders and proprietary trading groups.
• Manage the VIP program, which includes tier structures, rebates, incentives, and personalized support.
• Cultivate relationships with trading communities, market makers, regional prop desks, and local cryptocurrency institutions.
• Assess and pursue growth partnerships (media, communities, trading tools, aggregators) that enhance reach.
• Represent the APAC voice for user needs by gathering insights from traders and partners.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations to refine features, campaigns, and market strategies.
• Over 5 years of experience in crypto growth, business development, go-to-market strategies, or trading-focused partnerships within the APAC region.
• In-depth knowledge of the APAC ecosystem, including KOLs, communities, local platforms, and trading cultures in Korea, China, and Southeast Asia.
• Demonstrated success in managing affiliate/referral programs or influencer/channel-driven growth initiatives.
• Experience working closely with high-value clients, proprietary trading firms, or VIP traders, with a proven ability to build trust and establish impactful relationships.
• Strong understanding of perpetuals, derivatives, central exchange (CEX) and decentralized exchange (DEX) trading, and incentive mechanisms.
• Analytical mindset with a comfort level around key performance indicators, volume analysis, trader segmentation, and incentive modeling.
• Capability to operate independently in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills across diverse cultural contexts.
• Crypto-native: possesses an understanding of market structure, incentives, narratives, and trader psychology.
