
APAC Distribution Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.
• Develop and implement a regional distribution strategy aimed at increasing revenue, market share, and penetration in designated APAC markets.
• Foster and sustain robust relationships, establishing and nurturing C-Level connections with APAC Extreme Distributors.
• Create, oversee, and assess distributor business plans, encompassing revenue objectives, product assortment, profit margins, inventory levels, demand forecasts, and demand generation initiatives. Take the lead on forecast management and operational excellence.
• Design, initiate, and enhance partner programs, incentives, promotions, and enablement efforts to boost pipeline, improve conversions, and reduce sales cycles.
• Take responsibility for distributor performance metrics (Sales velocity, revenue growth, sell-through, Run Rate Sales, stock days) and implement necessary corrective measures.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects with marketing, product, finance, supply chain, and local sales teams to ensure alignment in promotions, launches, pricing, and inventory management.
• Lead initiatives for distributor onboarding, training, certification, and co-selling to enhance partner competency and ensure predictable outcomes.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, rebates, and MDF agreements to optimize ROI while ensuring adherence to company policies.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and channel ecosystem dynamics; translate insights into tactical actions and go-to-market modifications.
• Provide regular updates and forecasts to regional leadership; prepare business reviews, pipeline assessments, and quarterly plans.
• Manage channel conflicts, territory alignments, and escalation resolutions to maintain channel health and revenue integrity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in channel/distribution sales or partner management, business development, with a minimum of 6 years in APAC markets.
• Proven success in driving incremental revenue through distributors/resellers and managing channel programs and business development initiatives.
• Strong commercial negotiation capabilities and experience in creating promotions and managing incentive/MDF programs.
• In-depth knowledge of APAC market dynamics, distribution models, and multicultural partner management.
• Analytical mindset with experience utilizing CRM systems, partner portals, and sales analytics to manage pipelines and forecasts.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the APAC region.
