AP Instructor, Calculus AB and BC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Instruct AP students through various formats, including intensive short-term courses, ongoing one-on-one tutoring, and comprehensive classroom-style AP Courses.

• Leverage your expertise along with The Princeton Review’s curriculum to mentor students on essential content, test strategies, and skills in accordance with College Board standards.

• Design and conduct sessions tailored to meet students' needs, whether they aim to advance, catch up, or delve deeper into the material.

• Ensure professional and timely communication with students, families, and internal teams.

• Create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive experience within a virtual classroom environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience teaching a College Board–approved AP course within the last three years.

• Extensive knowledge of your AP subject along with familiarity with the exam structure and expectations.

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in your subject area or a related field is preferred.

• A flexible and adaptive teaching style, capable of modifying instruction to suit various formats and student needs.

• Strong communication skills and effective virtual classroom management abilities.

• Availability during evenings and/or weekends throughout the school year.

• Previous experience with online teaching is an advantage.

• Must successfully pass a subject-specific qualifying exam.

• Required to complete and pass our internal training course upon hiring.

• Must have a reliable computer, stable internet connection, and a quiet, distraction-free workspace.
