This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute a range of tasks to guarantee precise and timely reporting with annuity reinsurers
• Create journal entries and necessary settlement reports for annuity reinsurance treaties
• Engage in various facets of annuity reinsurance accounting and reporting
• Generate accounting/reporting entries and settlement documents for annuity treaties
• Collaborate with different departments to implement new reinsurance treaties or amendments
• Conduct timely and precise reconciliation of reinsurance accounts
• Support internal, external, and reinsurer audits
• Uphold detailed standard operating procedures at the key stroke level
• Provide assistance with ad hoc requests, special projects, and other assigned duties
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Over 1 year of pertinent experience in reinsurance accounting or financial reporting
• Experience in reinsurance accounting within the annuities or financial services sectors is preferred
• CPA license or actively pursuing such a license is preferred
