This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.
• Deliver clinical expertise and technical assistance for SurgiVet® and BCI brand products through phone, email, and automated call queues.
• Serve as the main point of contact for veterinary products within Technical Support.
• Collaborate with internal teams and distributor sales personnel.
• Identify deficiencies in customer-facing materials and aid in product investigations.
• Spearhead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing customer experience, workflow processes, quality, safety, and reducing complaint trends.
• Conduct clinical and technical training for internal staff, customers, and external vendors both on-site and in the field.
• Assess marketing and instructional materials for clinical precision.
• Work alongside Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams on product complaints, hazard/risk assessments, discrepancy reports, engineering change orders, and investigations of returned products.
• Evaluate the impact on patient safety.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements including FDA, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, and EHS regulations.
• Provide support for team leads or coordinators as required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• An associate’s degree is required.
• Active National Veterinary Technician Licensure (CVT, RVT, or LVT) is necessary.
• A minimum of three (3) years of clinical veterinary care experience with anesthesia products, monitoring equipment, and critical care devices is required.
• Strong clinical background in veterinary care, particularly with anesthesia equipment, monitors, ventilators, temperature management, and critical care disposables.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical and clinical scenarios from a remote setting.
• Excellent communication, group presentation, and training skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Continuous Quality Improvement principles and the ability to collaborate across regulatory and compliance frameworks.
• Self-motivated problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using clinical research and journals to address technical inquiries.
• Practical experience in veterinary emergency, critical care, or specialty practice environments is preferred.
• Previous experience in a call center/call queue environment, technical service desk, or medical device customer support role is preferred.
• Remote work arrangement.
• Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time.
