Anesthesia Director of Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for regional business development and operational support, along with the financial management of Sound Anesthesia Programs.

• Foster professional relationships with Sound Anesthesia leadership, central support services, the Anesthesia provider team, and hospital executives.

• Collaborate closely with Anesthesia clinical leadership to ensure successful outcomes for each Anesthesia program.

• Aid in establishing foundational business development processes, striving to enhance client alignment and satisfaction while increasing profitability.

• Promote process consistency and improvements while leading business management systems.

• Oversee the factors influencing P+L performance, offering financial, operational, and performance insights to clinical leadership.

• Propel performance management initiatives aimed at building recognized client value, negotiating contracts, and managing support from central service departments.

• Report directly to the Sound Anesthesia SVP of Operations.

• Cultivate working relationships with Sound central support departments to achieve desired outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.

• Over 3 years of experience in healthcare business development and/or operational management, with a solid understanding of hospital and healthcare settings.

• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

• Exceptional analytical and organizational abilities.

• Strong written and oral communication skills, including presenting and drafting business proposals.

• Client service-oriented (both internal and external) with the capability to collaborate with multiple teams in a results-focused manner while maintaining robust working relationships.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Familiarity with healthcare payment models, physician practice management, revenue cycle, payer contracting, managed care models, and Accountable Care Organization structures is advantageous.

• Valid driver’s license and appropriate insurance.
