Anemia Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the transformation of clinical lab results into actionable quality care.

• Collaborate directly with the care team, including Medical Directors, Nephrologists, and clinic colleagues, to deliver professional nursing care focused on anemia management for ESKD patients.

• Educate, mentor, and coach new Nurses on the fundamentals of anemia management.

• Execute new clinical protocols as sanctioned by the Governing body and prescribed by the physician(s).

• Analyze laboratory parameters and outcomes to assess the effectiveness of newly implemented anemia and iron management protocols.

• Examine admission lab results for new patients and initiate appropriate anemia and iron management protocols as directed by physician(s).

• Assess all Hb/Ferritin/T-Sat results and make necessary adjustments to ESA and Iron dosages according to established protocols for both initial and ongoing treatments.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in Nursing.

• An Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited nursing school is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) or a three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be considered in lieu of the nursing degree.

• A current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with functional knowledge of DaVita specific applications.

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with medical professionals and influence clinical outcomes.
