Android Developer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create Android applications utilizing Kotlin;

• Design and develop system interfaces;

• Integrate SDKs and APIs provided by manufacturers and partners;

• Implement and incorporate Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions and language models (LLMs);

• Engage in defining and advancing application architecture (MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture, among others);

• Maintain code quality by employing best development practices;

• Validate the functionality of the developed code;

• Analyze and troubleshoot software issues;

• Set up, configure, and provision development and testing environments;

• Configure application containers for development purposes;

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout all development phases;

• Generate project documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology-related discipline;

• Experience with:

• - Android development using Kotlin,

• - Integration of SDKs and APIs,

• - Architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVC and/or Clean Architecture,

• - Git and version control systems,

• - Continuous integration (CI/CD),

• - Agile development practices;

• Strong understanding of development best practices and design patterns.

• Nice to have:

• Experience with:

• - Unit and instrumented testing,

• - Continuous integration (CI/CD);

• Knowledge of:

• - Audio handling, voice capture, and microphone functionalities on Android,

• - Natural Language Processing (NLP) and its integration with voice services,

• - Integration and utilization of generative AI APIs and language models (LLMs),

• - Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or automotive embedded systems,

• - Speech-to-Text (STT) and Text-to-Speech (TTS),

• - Jetpack Compose;

• Interest in emerging technologies and AI-driven solutions.
