Android Developer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create Android applications utilizing Kotlin;

• Design and develop user interfaces for various systems;

• Integrate with software development kits (SDKs) and application programming interfaces (APIs) provided by partners and manufacturers;

• Implement and integrate Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions along with language models (LLMs);

• Engage in defining and refining application architecture (including MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture, among others);

• Maintain code quality by adhering to development best practices;

• Validate the functionality of the developed code;

• Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues;

• Set up, configure, and maintain development and testing environments;

• Configure application containers for the development process;

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams throughout all phases of development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Technology, ideally in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering;

• Proficiency in Android development using Kotlin;

• Experience with SDK and API integration;

• Familiarity with Git and version control systems;

• Understanding of development best practices and design patterns;

• Knowledge of architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVC, and/or Clean Architecture;

• Experience with agile development methodologies.

• Nice to have:

• Experience with unit testing;

• Knowledge of audio processing, voice capture, and microphone functionalities on Android;

• Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and integration with voice services;

• Familiarity with integrating and utilizing generative AI APIs and language models (LLMs);

• Experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or automotive embedded systems;

• Knowledge of Speech-to-Text (STT) and Text-to-Speech (TTS) technologies;

• Experience with Jetpack Compose;

• Familiarity with continuous integration (CI/CD) practices.
