This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Lead and nurture a team of data analysts, promoting a culture centered around curiosity, rigor, and ongoing enhancement.
• Take ownership of the complete strategy, development, and quality assurance of the analytics and reporting functions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and clinical leadership to convert intricate business inquiries into actionable insights.
• Encourage the utilization of self-serve reporting tools, empowering stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions.
• Establish and uphold data governance standards related to metrics, dashboards, and reporting pipelines.
• Support roadmap planning and prioritization for the analytics team.
• Guarantee compliance and confidentiality of Personal Health Information (PHI) across all reporting platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline, along with relevant professional experience in analytics or data engineering, showcasing leadership capabilities.
• Over 6 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role overseeing a team of analysts or engineers.
• Extensive expertise in SQL, Python, and BI tools (we utilize Looker and Metabase).
• Familiarity with dbt, data warehouse architecture, and contemporary analytics engineering methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling the translation of complex data into clear narratives for non-technical audiences.
• A proactive mindset towards developing scalable systems and processes.
• Experience in healthcare analytics or regulated data environments is preferred.
• A keen interest in learning about the healthcare and pharmacy sectors from a distinctive perspective.
