This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Assist in marketing initiatives by ensuring precise tracking for conversions, events, and user engagements.
• Evaluate campaign performance metrics and offer insights to enhance campaign efficiency.
• Set up and oversee tracking for external advertising and marketing platforms, guaranteeing accurate attribution, conversion tracking, and campaign assessment.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to comprehend campaign needs, manage stakeholder expectations, advise on tracking strategies, and ensure prompt delivery of analytics implementations.
• Perform thorough audits of our Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 setups to spot discrepancies, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Spearhead the implementation of GTM and GA4 across our web platforms, ensuring all tags, triggers, and variables are accurately configured to capture necessary data.
• Continuously update, maintain, and optimize GTM containers and GA4 configurations to accommodate new features, evolving business needs, and platform updates.
• Detect, troubleshoot, and rectify issues related to tag management, data layers, and analytics tracking, ensuring data integrity and accuracy across all marketing channels.
• Educate internal teams on the effective application of GTM and GA4 for their daily operations.
• Ensure that all implementations adhere to data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA while upholding user privacy standards.
• Take ownership of the implementation of both front-end and back-end tracking events and serve as the primary expert for investigating and resolving tracking issues.
• At least 3 years of experience in implementing, auditing, and managing Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 across complex web, Android, and iOS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of web analytics, digital marketing, and data privacy regulations.
• Proven experience in implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting analytics tracking across marketing campaigns and third-party advertising platforms in a B2C setting.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills, particularly when collaborating with remote teams and engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen interest in translating data into actionable insights.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a comprehensive understanding of their interaction with GTM and GA4.
• Familiarity with A/B testing tools, SEO, PPC, and social media campaign tracking.
