Analytics BI Engineer

📋 Description

• At Infinite Lambda, our Analytics Engineers transform extensive datasets into insightful, user-friendly, automated business intelligence solutions.

• This position is heavily client-focused, requiring collaboration with our partners’ project teams to deliver impactful analytics and reporting that enhance business decision-making.

• You will utilize modern data tools, with a strong emphasis on dbt for dependable data modeling and transformation, alongside Looker or Omni BI for analytics, to create scalable, self-service solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with strong expertise in:

• - SQL (advanced proficiency is essential)

• - dbt (robust, hands-on experience required, including data modeling, transformation, testing, documentation, and deployment)

• - ELT processes and best practices for modern data pipelines

• - Version control with Git

• - BI tools: Significant experience with Looker or Omni BI (candidates with extensive Looker experience who can quickly adapt to Omni are particularly encouraged to apply)

• Demonstrated client-facing or consultancy experience — you thrive on direct interaction with stakeholders, gathering requirements, offering recommendations, and delivering impactful solutions.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Comfortable functioning within a distributed, agile team setting

• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and initiative

• High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

• Preferred: Familiarity with additional BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik)
