This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the placement and management of tax insurance policies for corporate clients, private equity firms, and professional advisors engaged in intricate transactions.

• Collaborate closely with brokers, underwriters, tax advisors, and clients to evaluate tax exposures and facilitate policy negotiation and placement.

• Participate in calls with prospective and existing clients, take notes, and track follow-up actions.

• Maintain and refresh the tax insurance pipeline using Monday.com.

• Oversee master files and supporting documentation related to tax insurance placements.

• Help educate producers on tax insurance products through introductory calls and research efforts.

• Review submission materials and offer preliminary comments and feedback.

• Conduct research related to tax and transactions.

• Draft follow-up diligence questions based on initial submissions.

• Prepare submission packages for insurance markets.

• Monitor non-binding indication letters (NBILs) and create summary comparisons.

• Draft internal and client-facing NBIL summaries with recommendations regarding market participation and structure.

• Assist in drafting and revising tax insurance policy language.

• Prepare correspondence for clients, underwriters, and internal stakeholders.

• Coordinate with CAC’s Legal team on surplus lines and regulatory considerations.

• Contribute to tax insurance articles, thought leadership content, and client alerts.

• Support marketing materials and presentations for the Tax Practice.

• Provide daily operational and analytical support, including managing calls, meetings, and transaction assistance.

• Contribute to enhancing team processes, organization, and efficiency.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience or knowledge in tax insurance, tax, transactions, insurance brokerage, underwriting, or related areas is preferred but not explicitly required.

• Capability to participate in client and prospect calls, take comprehensive notes, and track follow-up actions.

• Proficiency in maintaining a tax insurance pipeline using Monday.com.

• Skill in organizing master files and relevant supporting documentation.

• Ability to conduct research related to tax and transactions.

• Competence in reviewing submission materials and drafting diligence questions.

• Ability to prepare submission packages for insurance markets.

• Capacity to track and summarize non-binding indication letters (NBILs).

• Skill in assisting with tax insurance policy language.

• Proficiency in drafting professional correspondence and client-facing materials.
