• Analysis and Model Development
• Create and sustain analytical models to evaluate the performance and potential of CAA’s investments, aligning with our objectives as defined in legislation and our program plan for each state.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and interpret data pertinent to strategic modeling initiatives, including supply and recovery projections for each state program.
• Collaborate with the Finance department to leverage historical costs for future forecasting.
• Generate reports and presentations that effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Maintain and refresh the Cost to Manage model, which is essential for CAA’s sanctioned fee setting methodology.
• Track industry trends and regulatory developments concerning recycling and printed paper and packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
• Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data in all analyses and reporting.
• Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.
• A degree in Business, Engineering, Scientific, IT, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in solid waste and recycling data analysis is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in data analysis and data visualization is required.
