
Analyst, Loan Salability – First-Line Model Governance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct loan-level quality assessments for secured lending originations, evaluating the completeness of documentation, accuracy of underwriting, compliance with eligibility standards, quality of collateral, and other criteria for marketability.
• Extract, organize, and assess portfolio performance metrics, including early payment defaults, delinquency trends, prepayment rates, loss severity, exception patterns, and additional indicators of asset quality.
• Develop and maintain recurring reports on asset quality and salability risk for banking partners, Capital Markets, and internal leadership, which include data extraction, analysis, formatting, and quality assurance checks.
• Implement first-line tracking of model performance — overseeing production model tracking tools, documenting override and exception trends, monitoring version changes, and proactively identifying patterns that may signal performance decline or out-of-bounds behavior for escalation.
• Keep issue logs, defect trackers, remediation updates, and documentation libraries current, organized, and ready for review by banking partners or regulatory bodies.
• Oversee governance and exam readiness deliverables — independently compiling evidence packages, completing reporting templates, and coordinating materials for reviews by bank partners, committee submissions, and regulatory assessments.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, credit operations, quality control, risk management, compliance, model monitoring, loan review, credit analysis, or a similar analytical role.
• Proficient in applying established review criteria to loan-level data, credit files, origination documentation, collateral documentation, or outputs from lending operations.
• Skilled in analyzing portfolio performance, indicators of asset quality, exceptions in credit policy, loan defects, items requiring remediation, or trends in operational risk.
• Experienced in utilizing Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, business intelligence tools, reporting tools, or similar systems for the organization, analysis, and quality control of structured data.
• Capable of documenting findings, exceptions, the status of issues, progress on remediation, or results of reviews for risk, compliance, credit, operations, audit, banking partners, or regulatory stakeholders.
