Analyst, Geospatial Intelligence – Store Clustering & Localized Assortment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze datasets at the store, market, and geospatial levels to aid in localized assortment and store clustering strategies.

• Utilize Placer.ai and other integrated data sources to assess shopping dynamics at stores.

• Assist in the creation and enhancement of store clusters based on shopper behavior insights.

• Identify localized opportunities related to seasonality, weather patterns, and multicultural events.

• Conduct analysis of incursions for new store openings and associated risks.

• Examine shopper behavior to support tailored category recommendations.

• Integrate data from multiple intelligence platforms to generate reports, dashboards, and presentations.

• Convert analytical results into actionable business insights.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams by leveraging geospatial insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Analytics, Business, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in geospatial analytics, retail analytics, category management, assortment analytics, space planning, or similar fields.

• Familiarity with location intelligence, mobility, demographic data, and store-level performance metrics.

• Preferred experience with Placer.ai or comparable geospatial/mobility platforms.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience in translating analytical insights into business recommendations and stakeholder-ready documentation.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
