This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Conduct Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) Assessments in the capacity of an ISA.
• Document findings from assessments, delivering gap analyses and recommendations for remediation.
• Offer guidance and support to business units regarding payment security matters, encompassing PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) and security best practices that align with the Cyber Security strategy.
• Collaborate with external security assessment firms to ensure timely project completion.
• Aid in the creation of formal presentations detailing compliance status and issues for business units and management.
• Partner with business units to gather and create evidence in preparation for both internal and external assessments.
• Facilitate Quarterly Security Reviews (QSRs) with business teams to guarantee that relevant PCI DSS controls are executed and upheld.
• Promote security best practices across the organization.
• Assist in addressing compliance inquiries from third parties, clients, client representatives, legal teams, and advanced product specialists on behalf of the company.
• Comprehensive knowledge of PCI DSS requirements and accurate reporting capabilities.
• 1-3 years of experience in PCI compliance programs as a PCI SSC ISA.
• General understanding of IT environments, including scope reduction, network devices, technical implementation, and asset management.
• Experience in cyber security, compliance, and IT assessment projects and processes.
• Proven ability to tackle technical and security challenges that are often complex.
• Familiarity with best practices related to network security, configuration management, system hardening, data retention and disposal, encryption, key management, anti-virus measures, vulnerability management, application security, and more.
• Experience collaborating with Network and Systems Engineers, Architects, Developers/Engineers, Finance Teams, DBAs, Call Center and Point of Sale administrators, and Suppliers.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• A degree in Information Systems/Information Technology or certifications such as PCI ISA, PCIP, CISM, or other related IT/Cyber Security qualifications are preferred.
