Analista de TI Sênior – Banco de Dados

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage and maintain database servers, including installation, configuration, updates, backup, and restoration.

• Analyze and optimize queries to enhance database performance.

• Implement and uphold data security policies, including access control and auditing to safeguard confidential information.

• Develop and test disaster recovery plans to ensure continuous data availability in the event of system failures.

• Monitor database integrity, support load testing, identify and resolve performance issues, and diagnose and fix system failures.

• Prepare performance reports, metrics, and analyses.

• Collaborate and support projects with other departments to understand requirements and ensure that the database is appropriately aligned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields;

• Postgraduate degree or specialization in related areas will be an advantage;

• Advanced experience in relational database administration;

• Experience in system and database migration and integration.

• Strong knowledge of SQL (advanced queries, procedures, indexes, and performance optimization);

• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server.

• Experience with non-relational databases (NoSQL) such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra, Redis.

• Scripting skills (Shell Script, PowerShell);

• Experience with managed public cloud services, such as AWS: Amazon RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift; Azure: Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Database for PostgreSQL/MySQL, Azure Synapse Analytics; GCP: Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, BigQuery;

• Experience in database automation and provisioning in the cloud via Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Familiarity with tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, and native cloud provider solutions for performance monitoring;

• Knowledge of best practices in database security: encryption, automated backups, disaster recovery.

• Experience in creating policies, automations, and integrations with CI/CD.

• Previous experience in project leadership, demonstrating strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
