Analista de Calidad de Software QA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, document, and implement testing plans and cases (functional, regression, integration, and acceptance).

• Validate functional and technical requirements at various stages of development.

• Identify, report, and track defects until they are properly resolved.

• Conduct manual and automated tests in different environments (QA, staging, and controlled production).

• Validate integrations, APIs, and critical business flows.

• Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to ensure quality from early stages.

• Actively participate in agile ceremonies (planning, refinements, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives).

• Suggest improvements in testing processes, quality standards, and test coverage.

• Document test results and generate quality reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields.

• Experience in software quality assurance (QA) with a focus on functional testing and system validation.

• Experience working within agile methodologies.

• Familiarity with testing methodologies (functional, regression, smoke, UAT).

• Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Proficiency in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

• Defect management and tracking tool experience.

• Experience with REST API testing.

• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries.

• Validations in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments.

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps.

• Understanding of PL/SQL.
