AMC 8 Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct personalized online math lessons aimed at preparing students for the AMC 8 and AMC 10 competitions.

• Instruct in English utilizing interactive and problem-solving techniques to foster students' analytical and logical reasoning abilities.

• Assist students in tackling competition-style problems while clarifying essential concepts and strategies used in math contests.

• Aid students in developing systematic methods for tackling common competition math subjects, including number theory, algebra, counting, probability, and geometry.

• Encourage students to build confidence and effective test-taking techniques for math competitions.

• Offer prompt feedback and focused guidance to promote student comprehension and ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher; preferred majors include Math, Economics, Finance, or related fields.

• Previous experience in math competitions or relevant teaching/tutoring experience is highly desirable.

• A solid foundation in mathematics; familiarity with competitions such as AMC, AIME, or MathCounts is preferred.

• Availability to work during weekday evenings and weekends.

• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous.
