This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Epic Ambulatory, assisting with application build, configuration, optimization, testing, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
• Configure and support Epic Ambulatory workflows, including provider documentation, order management, results review, patient throughput, and clinical workflow enhancement.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, clinic leadership, operational stakeholders, and IT teams to collect requirements and implement effective Epic solutions.
• Evaluate existing workflows and suggest system improvements that enhance provider efficiency, operational performance, and patient care.
• Assist with projects related to results review workflows, base/common name maintenance, laboratory naming conventions, and associated clinical workflow improvements.
• Work together with laboratory, integration, and ancillary application teams to support cross-functional projects and workflow advancements.
• Resolve complex application, workflow, and integration challenges while delivering advanced production support and conducting root cause analysis.
• Take part in workflow design sessions, integrated testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), system validation, Epic upgrades, optimization efforts, and go-live support.
• Support interoperability initiatives, which include Care Everywhere, clinical data exchange, and system integrations.
• Create and maintain build documentation, testing scripts, workflow documentation, and support procedures.
• Active Epic Ambulatory Certification or Accreditation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or a similar combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of direct Epic Ambulatory build, configuration, optimization, and production support experience in a healthcare setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of ambulatory clinical workflows, provider documentation, order management, and clinical operations.
• Experience in gathering business requirements, designing solutions, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting Epic applications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Outstanding analytical, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Salary based on experience $100,000 - $120,000
