This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +9 more states.
• Act as a strategic advisor to sales and client teams regarding key pursuits, renewals, and expansions.
• Assess client needs by integrating benefits design, population data, current vendors, and performance into a concise problem statement and strategy.
• Create APD proposals that align our capabilities with client objectives, including modifications to benefit design, contribution strategies, and integration with navigation and virtual care.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and consultant viewpoints to enhance solution positioning and counter competitive challenges.
• Assist in crafting clear, persuasive narratives and provide input for visual materials (such as pitch decks, RFP responses, and executive briefs) that convey a compelling story from problem to impact.
• Convert technical or clinical concepts into clear, executive-friendly language for HR, benefits leaders, and consultants.
• Customize solution messaging for various audiences (C-Suite, consultants, HR/benefits teams, procurement).
• Collaborate with Sales on pursuit strategies, including win themes, competitive differentiation, and stakeholder mapping.
• Support RFP solution development, including responding to inquiries regarding solution design, implementation, member experience, and measurement.
• Assist with financial models and business cases (such as ROI, savings, and adoption scenarios) in partnership with Analytics and Finance.
• Participate in key client and consultant meetings to present solutions, address strategic questions, and establish credibility as a trusted advisor.
• Serve as a liaison between field operations and product development, providing structured feedback on market needs, gaps, and future opportunities.
• Collaborate with Implementation, Operations, Clinical, and Member Experience teams to ensure solutions are viable, scalable, and aligned with delivery capabilities.
• Contribute to playbooks, templates, and best practices that enhance our go-to-market and solutioning practices throughout the organization.
• Develop and refine APD-specific frameworks, points of view, and tools that help clients and consultants understand value drivers such as member affordability, utilization steering, total cost of care, and vendor ecosystem interactions.
• Provide training and coaching to sales and client teams on new offerings, positioning, and solution narratives.
• Continuously enhance processes for qualifying opportunities, designing solutions, and bringing them to market.
• 15+ years of experience in sales, consulting, solutions consulting, strategy, client strategy, or equivalent roles within the healthcare sector, with proven experience in Alternative Plan Design products.
• Proven track record in designing and delivering solutions to senior stakeholders (HR, Benefits, Finance, or C-Suite).
• Strong strategic and structured thinking abilities; adept at deconstructing ambiguous issues and formulating clear frameworks and recommendations.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling capabilities, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex subjects.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with various stakeholders and competing priorities.
• High level of executive presence, professionalism, and credibility in client- and consultant-facing scenarios.
• Experience in digital health, health plans, benefits consulting, or healthcare navigation and virtual care.
• Extensive experience with Alternative Plan Design (APD), including the design, modeling, and implementation of APD programs as part of broader value-based benefit and affordability strategies.
• Experience in supporting enterprise and consultant-driven RFPs and strategic pursuits.
• Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in interpreting claims, utilization, engagement, or ROI analyses.
