This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +19 more states.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and channel partners at a senior executive level, emphasizing the strategic aspects of the partnership; act as a representative of Tangoe to the customer/partner and vice versa.
• Proactively generate new prospects, partners, and channels through personal networking and other channel connections, leveraging the inside sales team and participating in various client and industry events.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of the needs of each partner and client, and effectively communicate how Tangoe’s products and services can enhance their business operations.
• Exhibit a high level of proficiency in presenting Tangoe’s product and technology features, as well as service offerings; ensure a comprehensive understanding of how each Tangoe solution can be tailored to meet the requirements of potential clients or partners.
• Collaborate with other departments within Tangoe to convey client and partner feedback regarding Tangoe’s products and support.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of success in selling to steering and governance committees.
• Identify and engage new alliance partners; cultivate and strengthen strategic relationships with key partners.
• Execute lead generation, outbound calling, and follow up on warm leads.
• Grasp customer needs and requirements effectively.
• Present and explain product and technology features along with professional services offerings.
• Close sales and meet quarterly sales targets.
• Assist in the sales initiatives of new partners, including product demonstrations and quote preparation.
• Attend client meetings and trade shows as directed by executive or senior management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 10 years of direct sales experience in software and consulting services (preferably ERP products and IT outsourcing); a focus on TEM or Telecommunications/Communications services is desirable.
• A strong history of successfully building strategic partnerships and meeting sales targets.
• Experience in collaborating with senior stakeholders and Client Account Leads/Partners to develop mutually beneficial solutions.
• Capability to work effectively with internal RFP response team members.
• Proficiency in managing the complete sales process from prospecting through to closing.
• Experience in selling professional services.
• Extensive background in consulting sales.
• Familiarity with indirect channel management and alliance management.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proven ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels within the organization.
• Familiarity with CRM tools (like Salesforce) is an advantage.
