Albanian <> English OPI / VRI Interpreters, Fixed Term Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Albania.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during calls.

• Familiarity with the specific vocabulary relevant to the healthcare and medical industry is essential.

• Ensure all messages are conveyed accurately and completely, without adding, omitting, or substituting any information.

• Deliver the highest standard of customer service during interpreting sessions.

• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing precise and comprehensive interpretations of messages.

• Adhere to established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Demonstrate a willingness to pursue new professional certifications.

• Communicate and report effectively to your team leader.

• Follow dress code requirements for remote video interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language "Albanian."

• A minimum of 1 year of over-the-telephone interpretation experience with a reputable interpretation company.

• Experience in a call center or BPO setting is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology is required.

• Knowledge of legal terminology is considered a plus.

• International certifications in the healthcare sector are beneficial (such as PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language is required.

• Possess high emotional intelligence and tolerance for diverse cultures.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills are essential.
