This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Manage air import shipments from beginning to end, overseeing everything from pre-alerts to final delivery and billing closure.
• Proactively identify and address shipment issues, such as flight delays, rollovers, offloads, missing or incorrect documentation, customs clearance challenges, and cargo handling delays.
• Take prompt action to recover at-risk shipments by coordinating efforts with airlines, agents, brokers, and trucking companies.
• Ensure adherence to U.S. import regulations, including the coordination of AMS (Air AMS / ACAS) filings.
• Verify shipment documents (MAWB/HAWB, invoices, packing lists) and rectify discrepancies before they affect clearance or delivery.
• Monitor cargo arrivals, free time, and warehouse conditions to avert storage charges—taking action before problems escalate.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, providing not only updates but also solutions and next steps when issues occur.
• Escalate issues as necessary, but only after exploring potential resolutions.
• Validate costs, identify discrepancies, and ensure billing is accurate and timely.
• Keep precise shipment records and update milestones in the TMS.
• 2–5 years of direct experience in air import operations within a freight forwarding context.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage shipment exceptions (rather than just escalating or waiting for instructions).
• In-depth understanding of air freight processes and associated documentation (MAWB/HAWB, arrival notices, PODs).
• Experience with U.S.-bound shipments, including knowledge of AMS / ACAS requirements.
• Familiarity with customs clearance processes and the ability to resolve clearance-related issues.
• Experience coordinating with airlines, co-loaders, brokers, and overseas agents.
• Capability to manage several high-priority shipments simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities under time constraints.
• Clear and proactive communication skills—particularly during disruptions.
• Experience utilizing TMS.
• Willingness to work the night shift (US - EST time zone).
• HMO & Leave Credits: Enjoy healthcare benefits and utilize accrued leave starting from your third month.
• Supportive Remote Environment: Collaborate with a growth-oriented team from the comfort of your home.
• Seamless Onboarding & Training: Quickly acclimate with a structured program and client-specific training that positions you as a subject matter expert in your designated workflows.
