This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Instruct the designated course in accordance with the curriculum plan.
• Actively participate in online engagement with students.
• Apply teaching methods that support students in achieving set course objectives.
• Mentor students and address any potential performance challenges.
• Assist in updating course content as required.
• Capable of teaching classes in Florida Air A, Air B, Mechanical Contractor Trade Exam Prep, and Business & Finance as needed.
• Exhibit extensive knowledge of both the Business & Finance and Trade aspects of the Florida Air A, Air B, and Mechanical Contractor’s Licensing Board (CILB) examination.
• Deliver comprehensive instruction on essential exam topics, including:
• - Florida Air A, Air B, and Mechanical Code requirements.
• - Construction safety regulations and OSHA standards.
• - Air A, Air B, and Mechanical math calculations.
• - Contractual obligations and business law.
• - Other specialized knowledge pertinent to the Mechanical trade.
• Create and evaluate practice questions that align with the current exam framework.
• Stay updated with CILB exam changes and requirements.
• Offer practical insights and exam strategies based on personal experience.
• Develop and sustain study materials that address frequent exam challenges.
• Assist students with practice exercises and simulated exams.
• Keep informed about current construction practices, codes, and regulations.
• Previous experience preferred in teaching pre-license courses related to construction trades or professional education.
• Must hold a current Mechanical Contractor license in the State of Florida.
• Part-Time position; not eligible for benefits.
