AI Video Pipeline Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latvia.

📋 Description

• Develop modular, configuration-driven workflows that encompass scripts, hooks, avatars or LoRAs, voices, music, UI assets, and aspect ratios.

• Integrate the fal Queue API to oversee job management, rate limits, webhooks, and retries.

• Ensure runs are resumable to avoid incurring duplicate generation costs in the event of failures.

• Retrieve and cache UI assets.

• Utilize FFmpeg to compile clips, incorporate subtitles and CTAs, synchronize talking-head audio, and mix sound.

• Create video advertisements in 9:16 and 1:1 formats.

• Document the pipeline and offer configuration examples for the marketing team to utilize without the need for coding.

• Oversee SDK architecture, public API, releases, and the overall partner experience from start to finish.

• Develop a high-quality consumer application for a mobile gaming loyalty platform.

• Contribute to a product that assists gamers in discovering games, connecting with friends, and earning rewards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience with generative AI, fal.ai, and ComfyUI, demonstrated through workflows or applications you have created.

• Proficient in Python or TypeScript.

• Experience in automating workflows, API integration, and managing asynchronous processing, background jobs, and error handling.

• Capability to construct modular, configuration-driven pipelines that generate multiple variations by altering avatars, scripts, and other creative components while reusing assets.

• Experience in integrating image, video, text-to-speech, and talking-head models.

• Ability to select models based on quality, cost, and specific use cases.

• Practical experience with FFmpeg for clip assembly, UI overlays, subtitles, audio mixing, and aspect-ratio formatting.

• Competence in implementing reliable job orchestration, retries, resumable execution, and cost tracking.

• Ability to produce clear and maintainable code and documentation that allows marketing staff to operate workflows without needing to write code.

• Good command of English communication and the ability to collaborate with AI-video creative specialists.

• Willingness to share your screen and demonstrate a working pipeline or application while explaining your technical contributions.

• Nice to have: Experience with Seedance, MiniMax, Kling, or similar video-generation models.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with Stable Diffusion, LoRA training, or assessing character consistency.

• Nice to have: Experience in building internal applications for creative teams or scaling automated video production.

• Nice to have: Understanding of paid mobile user acquisition creatives and metrics such as CTR, CPI, or ROAS.

• Nice to have: Experience with agent-driven or AI-assisted video editing.
