AI Video Pipeline Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Develop modular, configuration-driven workflows that encompass scripts, hooks, avatars, LoRAs, voices, music, UI assets, and aspect ratios.

• Integrate the fal Queue API to effectively manage jobs, rate limits, webhooks, and retries.

• Enhance pipeline runs to be resumable, thereby avoiding duplicate generation costs following failures.

• Retrieve and cache UI assets efficiently.

• Utilize FFmpeg to compile clips, incorporate subtitles and calls to action, synchronize talking-head audio, and mix sound.

• Create video advertisements in both 9:16 and 1:1 formats.

• Document the pipeline thoroughly and provide configuration examples to empower the marketing team to operate workflows without needing to write code.

• Oversee SDK architecture, public API, releases, and partner experience from start to finish.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with generative AI, fal.ai, and ComfyUI, demonstrated through developed workflows or applications.

• Proficient in Python or TypeScript.

• Experience in automating workflows, integrating APIs, and managing asynchronous processing, background jobs, and error handling.

• Capability to construct modular, configuration-driven pipelines.

• Familiarity with integrating image, video, text-to-speech, and talking-head models.

• Hands-on FFmpeg experience in clip assembly, UI overlays, subtitles, audio mixing, and aspect-ratio formatting.

• Skill in implementing job orchestration, retries, resumable execution, and cost tracking.

• Ability to produce clear, maintainable code and documentation.

• Strong English communication skills.

• Collaborative spirit to work with AI-video creative specialists.

• A working pipeline or application to showcase during a screen-share walkthrough.

• Experience with Seedance, MiniMax, Kling, or similar video-generation models is a plus.

• Knowledge of Stable Diffusion, LoRA training, or evaluating character consistency is advantageous.

• Background in building internal applications for creative teams or scaling automated video production is beneficial.

• Familiarity with paid mobile user-acquisition creatives and understanding of CTR, CPI, or ROAS is a plus.

• Experience with agent-driven or AI-assisted video editing is desirable.
