AI Video Pipeline Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Albania.

📋 Description

• Develop modular, configuration-driven workflows that encompass scripts, hooks, avatars, LoRAs, voices, music, UI assets, and aspect ratios.

• Integrate the fal Queue API to effectively manage jobs, rate limits, webhooks, and retries.

• Ensure that runs are resumable to avoid incurring duplicate generation costs in the event of failures.

• Retrieve and cache UI assets efficiently.

• Utilize FFmpeg for clip assembly, adding subtitles and CTAs, syncing talking-head audio, and mixing sound.

• Create video ads in both 9:16 and 1:1 formats.

• Document the pipeline thoroughly and provide configuration examples for the marketing team.

• Take ownership of SDK architecture, public API, releases, and the partner experience from start to finish.

• Develop a high-quality consumer application for a mobile gaming loyalty platform.

• Contribute to the creation of a platform that allows gamers to discover games, connect with friends, and earn rewards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with generative AI, fal.ai, and ComfyUI, demonstrated through workflows or applications you have developed.

• Proficient in Python or TypeScript.

• Capable of automating workflows, integrating APIs, and managing asynchronous processing, background jobs, and error handling.

• Skilled in building modular, configuration-driven pipelines that generate multiple variations.

• Experience in integrating image, video, text-to-speech, and talking-head models.

• Hands-on FFmpeg experience involving clip assembly, UI overlays, subtitles, audio mixing, and aspect ratio formatting.

• Ability to implement reliable job orchestration, including retries, resumable execution, and cost tracking.

• Produces clear, maintainable code and documentation.

• Strong English communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with AI-video creative specialists.

• Willingness to share your screen and demonstrate a functioning pipeline or application.

• Experience with Seedance, MiniMax, Kling, or similar video-generation models (desirable).

• Familiarity with Stable Diffusion, LoRA training, or assessing character consistency (desirable).

• Background in building internal applications for creative teams or scaling automated video production (desirable).

• Knowledge of paid mobile user acquisition creatives and metrics such as CTR, CPI, or ROAS (desirable).

• Experience with agent-driven or AI-assisted video editing (desirable).
