AI Transformation Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Business Unit (BU) leaders to identify and prioritize AI use cases based on their commercial impact, customer experience, feasibility, and strategic alignment.

• Convert priorities into actionable roadmaps and assist teams in developing business cases to advance initiatives.

• Share successful strategies across BUs — when a solution is effective in one area, facilitate its adoption in others.

• Serve as the practical implementation partner as BUs utilize AI tools and workflows to advance their AI initiatives from conception to deployment.

• Provide guidance and advice to Business Units on cost-efficient tool utilization and the creation of synergies across the Group.

• Identify and eliminate obstacles — such as process friction, data gaps, and resistance to change — to ensure projects transition smoothly from pilot to production.

• Conduct AI pilots aimed at generating transferable insights and scalable results.

• Support BU’s AI Champions on a daily basis with guidance, escalation paths, and access to resources from the Modaxo AI Center of Excellence.

• Facilitate practical training sessions — particularly in prompt crafting and real-world AI application — to enhance team capabilities.

• Empower BU AI Champions to develop into confident, independent leaders, minimizing the need for central support for every inquiry.

• Maintain an up-to-date group AI roadmap that outlines key themes and initiatives to be implemented across all BUs.

• Keep the Group Leader apprised of progress, obstacles, and decisions requiring their input.

• Ensure that AI adoption becomes an integral part of routine operational performance discussions.

• Establish the AI Governance framework for the Group.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in driving the adoption of significant change programs within complex, multi-site organizations.

• Comfortable managing multiple stakeholder relationships and competing priorities across various business units simultaneously.

• Background in business transformation, change management, or senior commercial/operational positions with substantial change exposure or management consulting experience pertinent to transformation.

• Proficient in achieving results through individuals who do not report directly to you.

• A genuine, hands-on user of AI in a professional setting — credible, inquisitive, and well-informed.

• Understands the challenges of managing a Business Unit: commercial pressures, imperfect systems, and limited resources.

• Possesses a practitioner mindset.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Willingness to travel — occasional business trips, primarily within Europe, but not limited to that region.
